#070: How I Would Start Over Today [Podcast]

When I am interviewed, one question that comes up regularly is: “Ray, if you are starting your business today how would you do it?”  I think the implication is things are different today than when I started, and thus a different approach is required. But is that true? In this week’s episode I’ll answer the question, how would I start over today?

  1. There is quite a bit I would do over, starting with the above 5 steps you outlined in conjunction with what I know about the Wisdom Thesis. I have spent more time on tactics without really knowing who my market is and how I can best serve them. Thank you for the awesome podcasts. I am never disappointed.

  2. I’m resolved to take action faster in year. I already emailed this question out to friends and family who know me. Waiting for replies. Please use the email for your convenience if you like.

    Hi {first name},

Can you help me for a moment?

I am taking an internal skills-assessment
test, and I would like honest input from you.

If I asked you “what do you think Dan Tredo
is good at” – how would you answer that
    question?

Go with your initial thoughts and impressions.

Short, quick answers are best, and even
    one-word answers are fine too.

    Thank you for your time!
