I just got a neat little toy that I'm going to have fun testing out to see what it does on conversions - it's called "Instant Popover."

I'm curious to find out if anyone has used popovers on their squeeze pages - and what kind of results they get? For example, I'm wondering about using the popover in place of the regular sign up box...

Well, I guess I'll find out.

My personal opinion about how to increase conversions is an oldie but still a goodie. I think it's understanding who your prospects are and what they want - and giving it to them.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the helpful article, I'm sure all points will help me get higher conversions on my squeeze pages.

I do, however, have one question - and that question is...

Where can you get order buttons like the one you refer to in the article? Is there some place where you can download one?

Either way, cool article and keep up the good work.

Cheers Ray,

- Josh.

The opt-in rate at my "<a href=http://rayedwardscopy.com" rel="nofollow">copywriter for hire<a/>" site is 38.1%.

For my <a href=http://webcopywritingexplained.com" rel="nofollow">course on web copywriting</a> site, the opt-in rate averages around 48%... we're getting ready to ramp up a new promotion for that site, so I expect that opt-in rate to increase. Right now we're not promoting that site, and it's really not "live" (in other words, we need to do some updating!).

I have a few clients who routinely get opt-in rates better than 50% -- one who gets over 70% with multiple sites!
