  • I thank you for this. Although I try to do all of these everyday. I did not specifically think of posture as one of the seven. Love it!

    • Katherine Allen

Thank you Ray. I try to incorporate these steps into my life daily. However, I am not always successful with moving enough. Thank you for the reminder!!

  • You’re right about the benefits of drinking plenty of water. My wife turned me on to that. It is such a health boost, you wouldn’t believe. But so often we take a good clean glass or bottle of water for granted. I hope that will change for many people. I’m glad you mention it here.

  • Tony

Thank you Ray! It’s always a blessing to be reminded of the basics. Every area you spoke of has been my pursuit for over 40 years. I’d appreciate talking with you more on this. Biochemistry is my focus as a scientist and food is so important along with air and water being three things you can’t live without and are most abused today.

  • Gregg.

Wonderful! I need to work on 3 more.

    Best regards,

    Good morning, Ray.

As always, your personal, and professional, positivity makes me smile.

Actually, your suggestion that we “edit [ourselves] carefully” in terms of where we practice jumping jacks — especially if we’re in a public place — made me roar with laughter.

I love your blogposts. They are a boon to my spirit. And to my business. Thanks.

  • Thank you, Ray, for this reminder! Great tips! God Bless!

  • Thank you, I learned first hand that dehydration can raise your blood pressure and moving is something I need constant reminders of. Thank you so much. Simple, smart, proactive steps to energy!! I’m hiding the chocolate caramel pinwheels as I type – blush!!

  • I have been looking into the more energy thing for about 6 months. What you have in this video is spot on! It is simple but that is exactly what people in general need to do to have more energy. Good Video! Thank you.

  • Denise

Thanks. Forgot some of these tips, \

  • All great suggestions, Ray. I try (but am not always successful) to implement all of them on a consistent basis.

  • All these are right on Ray. And one more 🙂 to add is to go to the restroom as we can often neglect some basic needs and wait to go when it hurts or we can’t stand it any longer. This creates un-necessary stress a d can cause us to rush. By getting up to go you end up moving, you can swing by the kitchen or cooler on the way back while doing a little dance and fill up your cup with your fav motion potion and get back to making magic happen in your business again. It is a great way to hit all the other seven. The perfect natural pattern interrupt.

  • This is a good reminder. I live in a dry state and definitely dont get enough water. I also do not speak enthusiastically. That is something I will have to work on, otherwise people will not listen to me when I have something to say !

  • Great stuff Ray, thanks!
Poor posture can have a devastating effect.
There is something powerful a person can do about it. You and all here may like this 20 min talk on TED.
It really works. This lady did some very useful research and came up with quick and practical recommendations:

Actually, your talk reminds me to put this 2 minute exercise on my “do everyday list” along with your 7 Ways. Enjoy!

  • Good Morning RAy,

Thank you for this message. I do all of these things! God has given me a new lease on life since following HIS word and asking HIM into my life daily. I really appreciate the fact that you bring that reminder to connect with Jesus continuously.

As my wife has taken a step back from healing in her health quest, I have chosen to take a job that provides more income to pay for the help needed to help her heal.

We have chosen both Naturopathic and Alopathic help, but mostly have added better nutrition and supplements. Growing our own nutrient dense food and of course giving All of the Glory to God our Heavenly Father!

I am looking forward to growing you business part time now as we continue to help others and share HIS Love. Thank you for everything!

Great practical tips…and reminders that we can change our energy levels and improve our overall health with simple changes every day. For those of us who sit at a laptop so many hours a day as authors, we need to be reminded to drink lots of water, take breaks to move around. Yet the one tip that resonated with me: Your posture speaks volumes about your attitude at any given time or place. Being enthusiastic and ‘alive’ can make such a difference in how you are perceived and you you enjoy an event or activity! Thanks!

  • Oh, my gosh. I love your humor tastefully sprinkled throughout your content. You had my attention, gave me valuable reminders, but I also enjoyed a refreshing laugh. Thanks, Ray!

  • Focused breathing and drinking more water will be the most beneficial to me at this point, thanks.

  • Absolutely love this video content. Most think they need more time when they actually need more energy. Resonated with the 7 with their practicalness and encourage more content on this subject. Ironically, my entire entrepreneurial focus is on the subject of energy. Kudos on the topic choice, Ray.

  • All seven methods seem simple and possible if we chose to take time to do them. Thanks!
