"Start & You'll Get Further"

Before doing any of the awesome suggestions above I always encounter a little to lots of resistance.

That was until I started using the "Start & You'll Get Further" principle.

If I tell myself that I only have to spend 10 minutes writing bullets my mind sees this as easy to accomplish and doesn't put up a fight. And as soon as I hit 10 minutes I've won.

But sure enough as I get momentum on my side I don't want to stop at 10 minutes. I'm already here, I flowing, I'm gonna keep going.

But it begins with getting the word doc up and my fingers to the keyboard.

Try this out and see how it works for you.

Very good advice Ray. I know it's simple…but it's the simple things that we often overlook. Just completing these tasks not only gets those juices flowing, but also gets part of the job done.

I sometimes find myself stumped because I feel I must write a series of headlines first. I think that’s because I often write in the order I read (probably not the best method). This is a great reminder for me, Ray. Thanks!
