If you’ve noticed that a few things are different (or even missing) on this site, it’s because:
- I moved the site to a new, dedicated server. There were just too many problems with the server being overcome with traffic at the site “old” home.
- I have settled on a new system for managing the content on my website.
- Some of the material from the previous version of this site will be returning in the coming days and weeks; some will not. The forum, for example, will not be returning.
So, please pardon my virtual dust. The move was for your benefit: you should find the site more reliable, and files should load more quickly for you now. For those who are interested, my new host is HostGator.
Hostgator is a popular service. To reveal something like that is a very transparent thing to do. It adds to your credability as a genuine human being. It is risky sometimes to reveal something like that. If the service is unable to absorb a swell in clients then your shiny new jewel can suffer. I dought that happens with Hostgator. You just have to be careful.
