5 Business Barriers That No Longer Stop You

Now Is The Time To Start Your Business

Today I have a new video for you about why this is the most exciting time in history… especially for those who want to start, run, or grow their own online business. It doesn't matter what the economy is doing, or even who the President of the USA happens to be.

In fact, there are 5 big business barriers that we (all of us) have just obliterated. Up until now, these 5 factors were impassable for most of us. But these 5 barriers no longer stop anyone from starting a REAL business. These barriers don't even EXIST anymore. That's the subject of today's video. Time to get excited…

Question: What does the breaking of these 5 barriers make possible for YOU? You can leave a comment by clicking here.

  • That was a great to present the 5 barriers – it is easy to forget how easy it is. The barriers are more in me myself – I am realising more and more!

  • Thanks for posting this video. It really echoes the same message of other materials I’ve been reading. It’s encouragement for me and my husband’s fledgling business.

  • Pat was right, Ray. You are great on video. Thanks for showing us that these 5 barriers have been removed. I’m glad that another barrier, if I can even call it a barrier, has been removed as well. That barrier is the divide between us and the people we serve online. Now, it’s much easier to interact with them and gather feedback from people who consume our content or subscribe to our email lists. We can actually ask them about their pain points and problems. And of course, we can use that feedback to tailor our messages and products to help them solve whatever is keeping them up at night if we can. It’s like the world is turning into Burger King where you can get almost anything and “have it your way.”

    • Wow Michael – that “sixth broken barrier” is a powerful observation! Thanks!

  • Thanks a lot for a very inspiring video, Ray. Looking forward to your new videos. As your regular reader (I started from your book a couple of months ago) I am certain you have plenty of great business ideas and insights to share. Best, Stan

    • Thank you Stan. I’m definitely going to keep doing them for a while – we’ll see where it goes.

  • Ingrid

Look forward to your next video & peptalk! There’s much I need to do to get started but I’m working on it. Thx!

  • Ray

Great job as always. You should continue doing more videos.

Johann Junge is correct the real barriers are within each of us. Having you break this barriers down is important because we do start taking it (opportunity) for granted. Taking a step back and looking big picture is motivating.

Congratulations on your success and thanks for helping the rest of us walk that road that you have already sprinted. It is much appreciated.

As I watched your video I realized how true it is. Technology has brought us a long way while opening doors for some who would of otherwise just dreamt about it. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to your next podcast. I myself am in the process of creating for a cause.

  • Clear, concise, impactful – when you’re right, you’re right!

  • Sam

The Beard is looking good, Ray. Really think that all my missteps in life and business have led me to this point. Like you said, it’s so easy now to become a business owner and have coverage anywhere in the world, versus where we have been in the past only being able to connect with people in your area, and sometimes not even them. Great lesson, plan on following the stream.

  • Ray thank you for putting it out there for all to see! I like your youtube and I’m planning to follow your lead. Reading your book “How to write Copy that Sells”
I just last night got a chance to listen to the two podcast you and Cliff Ravencraft did together. It is a delight to hear men who love God demonstrating that life is fun! Blessings and Grace to you both!
PS You mentioned that you were into photography. I’m a PPA Master of Photog. If you have questions perhaps I can bless you!

  • Grant Washington-Smith

    Hello Ray,
Like others have said; great video. I like the authenticity you inject into the presentation. I realise you have a strong background in copywriting and I have always found it difficult in striking the balance between what I perceive as copy that is both authentic AND effective, so I look forward to more videos.

PS I am from New Zealand, but I have been to Spokane, WA.

    • Grant, one of these days I really want to get to New Zealand – it seems like one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

  • Prosper with purpose…belongs on my desk! Thank you, Ray.

  • Ray Butler

Good WORK Ray, Thanks for all you do

  • Ray! It is incredible to realize that I have absolutely everything I need to do what I want to do… Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insights!

  • Good video Ray. I like it when the veterans share their thoughts with us newbies.

  • James Morsberger

Wow Ray, outstanding video! Thanks so much for posting it. Looking forward to the next one. … James

  • Ray, great insight. I look forward to the upcoming videos. Don’t forget to set down your glasses.

  • Joanne

    Great insight, Ray.

Nice start. Looking forward to your series on your new channel.

  • Kim

Awesome video. Thank you! I think this is a great time because in many ways it is the return of “cottage industries.” It’s much easier to work for yourself, or at least give it a go. It’s a matter of dealing with the barriers within rather than the external ones.

  • Great video, your exactly what I was looking for tonight. Okay, that didn’t come out right but you get the idea lol! May God continue to bless you in all that you do. I hope the coming weeks are as kind to you as you are to so many others!

    Hi Ray,

I really enjoyed the video and wanted to share it on Linkedin but you don’t have a Linkedin share button and copying the link in the share post did not work. Just a thought.

  • Always encouraging and inspiring, Ray. Thanks for reminding us that we can accomplish unprecedented goals when we realize what we have readily available to us. So glad you are doing these videos.

    • Thank you so much Brian! I appreciate you so much!

  • Congrats on your new video series! Looking forward to more. You are a captivating storyteller, I will watch more for sure.

  • Oh yes, this is such an exciting time to be doing business, to be sharing our knowledge…there are unimaginable opportunities that the online world has given us.
The only thing that blows me away more is the number of people who are currently online… and the number who will be online next year… and the year after… The world is truly our oyster…!
Thank you for this Ray – inspiring and insightful. Pat is right you: should keep doing videos!

  • Great to see you moving into video! And what en encouraging word to help us to keep on plugging away until we see the victory we need!

  • Your video was right on target! I hope you will produce more videos. It’s the next best thing to being in one of your seminars. My time is limited and the video format suits my needs.
