How To Get Your Missing Podcast Episodes Back

I've heard from a few folks that there might have been a hiccup in my podcast feed. One person asked me, “Why have you stopped making new episodes?” This makes me sad.

I just published episode 145, and we haven't missed an episode in 145 weeks running (since we started).

I don't know why some people seem to be missing new episodes in their podcast app. In a moment, I'll explain how to fix this. But first, let's get you caught up…

Here's What You May Have Missed

Just in case you might have missed the last few episodes, here's a summary and some quick links to get you caught up.

Michael Hyatt On Goal-Setting

It’s the time of year when we all start to think about making resolutions and setting goals for the new year… and we’re either happy about it, or cynical. This week Michael Hyatt is my guest, and he offers a fresh perspective on setting goals. Click here to listen.

Chris Brogan Shares “How To Own Your Life”

In this episode, the theme is “how to own your life”. It includes an interview with one of my favorite people, Chris Brogan. Chris is brilliant, and shares some jaw-droppingly smart insights. Click here to listen.

How To Overcome Depression

Do you know the demon named depression? Winston Churchill did, and he called it his “black dog”. Others have named it “the noon-day demon”. In this episode, I share my own personal journey with depression – and my “9-step Recipe” for overcoming it! Click here to listen.

5 Powerful Ways To See The Road Ahead

We often treat the future as if it’s a mystery. As if we don’t have a say in it, or any control if it. And while there is some truth in that, there is a deeper truth also. We get to choose how we see the future, and the choice we make has a profound influence over the outcome we experience. This episode shows you 5 powerful ways to see the road ahead. Click here to listen.

Ask Me Anything

This is a special episode where I’m taking the time to answer a ton of questions from listeners and readers. I really enjoy these kinds of shows, and this one is no exception. Click here to listen.

By The Way, You Can “Binge Listen”

I mean, now that Serial is over, what are you going to do? The Ray Edwards Show is a free, weekly online radio show created for small business owners, and those who want to start a business. God created you to be an entrepreneur, you were born for this, and I was born to help.

You can see a convenient list of my entire archive of (currently) 145 episodes when you click this link.

New episodes are usually published Wednesday morning each week. Sometimes I publish a day early or a day late. This week's episode went out early, for instance, so that those traveling for the Christmas holiday would have the episode available for their trip.

How To Get Episodes Automatically… Or Start Getting Them Again!

If you have been missing episodes, you may need to re-subscribe to the show in your podcast app of choice. And if you've never subscribed, now's the time! Instructions are below.

Subscribe to the show using iTunes or Stitcher to automatically get every episode, and it’s always free.

I like to use a podcast application on my iPhone to subscribe to podcasts. You can use Apple’s Podcast App, which comes with your iPhone. My favorite podcast app is currently Overcast.

On this page is a brief video tutorial showing how to use the Apple Podcast App to subscribe to a show. Other Apps will work in a very similar fashion.

How You Can Help Spread The Word

I work hard to provide you with this podcast for free, week after week. If you'd like to do something to help, I'd love it if you could just spread the word! Here's how:

  1. Subscribe to the show in iTunes (or Stitcher).
  2. Give the show a rating in iTunes. 5 stars is my preference, of course, but please just give us your honest rating.
  3. Write a short review in iTunes. If you will go this extra step, I'd love to promote you and even YOUR podcast or website. Just be sure to mention your name and URL within the body of your review (otherwise I can only thank your “screen name” in iTunes, which may be something like Crash134 or BunnyEars or… well, you get the idea…).

That last step – writing a review, really helps get the show to rank higher in iTunes, which helps new listeners find us, so if you do that… thank you in advance!

I hope this helps clear up any questions about why you might have been missing episodes, and maybe even introduces you to the show if you've never listened before.
